I went out for a company meeting to Scottsdale and they sent us on this unique Hummer Tour in the desert. Aside from the awesome scenery and driving is the best off-road vehicle on the planet our guide taught us all kinds of great information about the desert. It was an interesting experience that I would highly recommend

With more than 330 days of sunshine a year, Scottsdale is the perfect playground to indulge in your favorite adventure - or even discover a new one. Reach new heights with a hot air balloon ride. Or see the beauty of the Sonoran Desert up close with a morning trail ride in the McDowell Mountain foothills and watch the desert come alive around you. Want more? Float down the cool waters of the Salt River on a raft, dive into the crystal blue waters of a hotel or resort pool, or glide across Saguaro Lake in a kayak. Go biking, climb a mountain, take a Jeep tour - well, you get the idea.

Scottsdale is located in central Arizona, just east of Phoenix, between Carefree and Tempe. It is home to more than 100 art galleries, craft shops and golf courses. It is a popular retirement/tourist community featuring numerous cultural activities January through April and some of the best Scottsdale home and condo rentals too.

Paradise Valley and Scottsdale are two affluent cities in Arizona that are almost completely centered around golf. Paradise Valley is one of the wealthiest areas in the nation and is considered an extension of Scottsdale. Scottsdale was recently named "America's Best Place to Live for Golf" by the Robb Report and is also known as "The West's Most Western Town," which explains why equestrian events are equally abundant in this area. The area is also famous for its numerous exquisite culinary experiences, as there are more than 600 restaurants in the area. The shopping is equally impressive as there are many high-end shops and department stores, such as Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. The friendly atmosphere of Scottsdale and Paradise Valley make them perfect for any type of traveler, whether it is a trip for the entire family or a romantic golf getaway for two. Scottsdale and Paradise Valley are truly golfer's paradises and a year-round vacation destination for anyone craving sun, relaxation, and of course, golf.

Spent a week over Christmas at the "Scottsdale Grande". Was not happy with the location. What they fail to tell renters is that this condo is located directly on Hayden Road (a very busy street). Traffic can be heard at all hours and this makes for a difficult sleep.
The shower in the en suite appeared to be broken but you have to pull really hard to turn the water on. If you don't have a strong traveler with you, chances are you won't be taking a shower in that bathroom.
Also, not a very safe condo. Located on the ground floor with no extra locks on the windows or doors. This condo is actually located in the "Sunscape Villas" and is known for multiple car thefts in the parking lot and break ins.
